DPS Secure Print for MAC OSX Laptops & iMacs

How to install the DPS Xerox Darien Secure Printer on MAC OSX Laptops and iMacs

 

·       Make certain that you are connected to the DPS Eduroam Wi-FI network before proceeding

 

·       Go to the Apple menu, then choose System Preferences… and click the Printers & Scanners icon.

 

·        Click the plus icon near the bottom left side of the printer list.

 

·       Look for ‘Darien_Secure_Print and double click on the printer icon.

 

·       The printer driver will now begin to install & once complete, it should now appear in your list of printers.

 

 



This is an example of where the Xerox Darien Secure Printer will be once installed.

 

·       That should do it.

·       *** Very important **** If your password has changed after the printer was installed, you will need to look out for the following

 ·       Look for this icon on the bottom of the Mac screen and it should be bouncing up and down.

·       The print monitor is letting you know that there is an issue with your print job.

·       Click on this icon

·       Then the window below should appear. Click on the little refresh icon that has the red arrow pointing to it. You should then see the login window appear. Enter your username and then the new password. That’s it
