Change DPS Password

To change your Darien password

YOU MUST BE ON A DISTRICT COMPUTER IN ONE OF THE DARIEN PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS

1. Log into a windows computer that is on Darien network

2. When you get to the desktop, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE

3. When the menu appears select CHANGE A PASSWORD

1. You will see this screen next

1. Enter OLD PASSWORD – press TAB key

Enter NEW PASSWORD – press TAB key

Enter NEW PASSWORD to confirm – press ENTER key

PASSWORD CRITERIA

• At least eight characters long

• Cannot use a previous password

• Password must contain three of the following requirements

• Uppercase letters (A, B, C, …)

• Lowercase letters (a, b, c, …)

• Numbers (0, 1, 2 …)

• Special character ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - + = { } [ ] \| : ; “ ‘ < > , . ? /

When you change your password it will sync with Microsoft Outlook & Google. 

***However, if you are connected to Eduroam you will need to change the password on your devices (cell phone, iPad, etc.).
