Password Change/Reset

Please do the following while you’re on the DPS network:

You may have seen the below notice appear after logging into a DPS Windows-based computer that your password will expire in the next few days. 


When you see this notice please consider changing your password either today or tomorrow to prevent any downtime.  

Teachers– You can reset your password from any of the classroom teacher's computers by logging in then pressing the Ctrl, Alt & Delete keys, and choosing Change password.  

*** You cannot use a previous password ***

Other Options for changing your password:

1. You can also click on the following link from any of your devices and enter your current login information    https://tinyurl.com/DPS-password-reset

2. If you click DPS Bookmarks you will see DPS Reset Password, please follow the instructions

DO NOT change your password within your email on the web. It can only be done by the above methods. 

Password Requirements:

The minimum length should be at least 10.

Must contain at least 1 upper case character(s)

Number of numerals to include 1.

Must not have 5 consecutive characters from the username.

Must contain at least 1 lowercase character(s)

Key items to note:

Once your password has been reset, you will need to do and look out for the following:

1. Reconnect to our Eduroam Wi-Fi (DPS email address and new password) on all DPS devices.

2. Log into the Chrome browser & enter your new password.

3. Cell Phones, If you’re using the Outlook app or program, please launch it and you may be prompted to enter your new password.

4. For MacBook users, printing will be an issue once the password has been changed. I have attached the instructions on how to fix that issue.

5. iPad users – Please reconnect to Eduroam and check your email to ensure it prompts you for the new password. Printing will not be affected.




6. Teacher computers will not be an issue once the password has been changed successfully.
