DPS Device Repair

STUDENT DEVICES

  1. Print out and completely fill in the attached repair ticket then tape it to the broken device

  2. Submit an online support ticket for the broken device, click DPS Bookmarks, Darien Support Helpdesk

  3. Have the student go to the media center and get a loaner device

  4. Put the broken device into interoffice mail to Central Services

  5. Once the original device is repaired, we will interoffice mail it back to the teacher

  6. Have the student go to the media center and return the loaner device

 STAFF DEVICES

  1. Print out and completely fill in the attached repair ticket then tape it to the broken device

  2. Submit an online support ticket for the broken device – please use another device to submit the ticket as yourself(this way we can communicate directly with you) click DPS Bookmarks, Darien Support Helpdesk

  3. Once we have your ticket, we will work with you to try and get a loaner device

  4. Put the broken device into interoffice mail to Central Services

  5. As soon as it is repaired, we will communicate with you to swap devices

 If the procedure above is not followed, there could be a chance the broken device repair will be delayed or returned unfixed.

  • Screen - cracked or distorted

  • Touchpad - not responding

  • Touchscreen  - not working/not responding

  • Wifi - not connecting
